First times.....

So last night when tim got home I asked him to run to walmart (just down the street). Tim said that I should go while he plays with the baby. Well I've not been without my little guy or at least the same vicinity since well technically since before I got pregnant! I hesitated for a while ok it took me an hour before I actually decided that I could go by myself.! ( pathetic maybe but o'well) I finally grabbed the keys and cash and headed to walmart. Walking through walmart was so weird to me. It was the first time in a LONG time that I have not been either GIGANTICALLY PREGO or with a brand new baby. It was so different, even more then I expected it to be. I didn't know if I liked it or not. I felt bad for leaving Jaerick at home. Not that his daddy isn't totally capable of taking care of him for the 10 minutes it took me to run and grab milk but it was just a first time experience. It made me think of how many "first times" we have gone through just since Jaerick was born. Jaerick is turning 1 month old on Thursday and I can't help but think it is going by so so fast! He does new things everyday and he is getting so big. Just yesterday tim was holding him and Jaerick was kicking and wiggling with a big smile and Tim said he doesn't even look or act like the new baby we brought home just a few weeks ago. He is not half as "floppy" as he was and he is able to move on his own so much more!!! We are loving ever minute with him. He is such a blessing to us. We love him so much and are so excited for all the "first times" we have to look forward to!
