A couple little stories...
OK I just have to post this picture! Jaerick was playing his favorite toy ( the piano ) and he just looked so much like one of this folke singing, poem reading pianists. It was cute!!
Tim and I are so EXCITED!!! Okay... I am SO EXCITED!!! Tim is not as into the holidays as I am but this year he seems to be more into it since we have Jaerick now. We have officially started a new tradition! Jaerick has been appointed to the Star putter upper for the Christmas Tree. Last year Tim and I spent our first christmas together and Tim decided that we would not buy a star until our baby came and had his first christmas so he could choose it. Jaerick was so cute! We took him to walmart and put all the options for stars on the ground and then put him down and let him crawl to the one he wanted! I have to admit I was SO happy he didn't pick the funky one! ha! Then when we got home Tim held Jaer up and I gave him the Star! He was so happy! I had to help a little to situating it since those dang stars are so hard to get straight! We are so happy to begin building and testing out new traditions with our own little family!
This morning Jaer figured out that he could open the doors to the entertainment center! I guess that idea about him not getting into the movies and toys because they'd be behind closed doors was BOGUS! He knew where his toys were so he opened the doors up and climbed on in! It was is SO CUTE because he is about 4 inches shorter then the doors!!! But when he is determined he goes for it!
My Niece Katie and my nephews Braxton and Awsten had their piano recital tonight! They all did GREAT! I was seriously impressed! They have only been going for a few months now and they got up infront of a ton of friends, family and not to mention complete strangers to preform their songs! Great Job Guys!
*Katie was born to play she has those beautiful, skinny, perfect fingers ready to play those keys! *Braxton told me after "I'm pretty good but I am just doing this until I start BYU football!"
*Awsten said I did so good my Daddy was more loud then ever! (Not true but so cute!)
