When we first decided that I was going to be a stay at home mom I wanted to make sure that I didn't go stir crazy! I wanted to make sure that all day we weren't just chillin' all day! I wanted to make sure I became a hands on mommy. So to start off I took about $30 and headed to the dollar store. I bought everything I could think of that we may be able to use to learn, craft and play together.
Here's a little of what I remember ;o) Sorry I didn't keep my list!
* Tiny Erasers ( These are shaped like monkeys and because there are so many ( 30 I believe) I would use them to count.
* Pipe cleaners ( We use these ALL of the time for MANY other activities)
* Shoe laces ( these came in many colors allowing us to use colors and counting and stringing and tying)
* Construction paper ( Again I use this a LOT)
* Popcicle Sticks ( We use these to make puzzles and to make pupets etc.)
* Glue Sticks
* Glitter Glue
* Colored Pencils
* Foam ABC Mat
* Foam 1-10 Numbers Mat
* Pom Poms ( Used for colors, counting, and crafting)
* Puzzles ( ABC, 123 and Colors )
* Googly Eyes
* Chalk
* Ice Trays ( Used for sorting and counting )
* Sink Mat ( Cool Idea! )
* Funnel
* Strainer Scoop
* Streamers
* Bubbles ( obviously just to use for what they are ;0)
* Multi Colored Large Opening beads
* Tin Turkey Tray
* Stickers
* Elmers Glue
* Markers
* Poster Boards
Then at Wal*Mart I bought
the BIG Preschool Work Book
Sheet Covers 50ct.
Binder
