Family Getaway and the Bear!

What a way to start off MAY!

We decided to leave and go do a little bit of NOTHING this past weekend! 

It was EXACTLY what we NEEDED!!!

Just some time to have some Family FUN! 

We headed up to Brian Head 

We went "out of season" so it was empty up there! There were only a few people in the entire hotel and it made for the perfect QUIET getaway! Exactly what we wanted!

 Jaer thought it was amazing how high up we were haha

 So I'm not sure why I didn't think of this but our chip bag was gonna pop! From the elevation! It didn't but don't worry the shampoo, conditioner, lotion and gel did! And I was the one who opened each of them! ahh! It was kind of funny the first 2 times!

 We had lunch at the Bar... not that we had an option! It was the ONLY place in the whole town open for lunch! I didn't think about that oops! Good thing it was SO good!

 Jaerick had so much fun bringing all his toys to the pool!

 We also went biking! Except here's the thing I couldn't BREATHE! I mean seriously it felt like so much pressure on my chest! Tim said it was normal with the elevation! So lesson learned! ha

 They had a lot of little streams where the water came down from the snow and it was SO pretty!

 Jaerick was cold but loved riding with Daddy!

 OH And the SCARIEST thing EVER!                                                                     This was SO cool!

 We were driving up the hill to Brian head and I was watching out the window and I saw a BEAR! LOL I said "Babe I swear there's a Bear RIGHT there!" He looked at me like I was crazy and said " Oh ya what color?" I laughed and told him it was plush with an LA hat on! He didn't really believe me so on the way home I looked for it. He pulled over to see I WASN'T lying!

 haha Someone has a sense of humor because this Bear and his little buddy were stuck into the ground with a big re bar rod thing. It was funny!
